i think it would be nice if we could bring back the real meaning of the swastika. its not really common knowledge that it is actually an ancient symbol of peace
and i really really love how some people are bold enough to get swastikas tattooed on their body or to wear swastika jewlery and clothing and things like that.
How interesting!!!!! It would require a great deal of courage to wear it, as it has so much negative connotation, but I love the idea of reclaiming its original meaning--and it is a beautiful symbol--so symmetrical and aesthetically pleasing!!
Good luck with that (pun sorta intended). As an old dissident I noticed that you have to be financially untouchable or superb with communication skills to avoid the flack that comes with going against the flow that strongly. I remember the "non-racial skinheads of the 80s and 90s. Not only were they up against it in general perception but also other skinheads hunted them down. I heard that it was very real. You wrote this about 8 years ago. I can't help but wonder how you're doing with it now.
